Shareen Hamilton

Tell us something interesting about your background.

I am a bay area native and enjoyed growing up in this community. I went to University of Portland for my undergraduate degree and Santa Cara University for a Master’s degree in Counseling. In my professional career, I have worked in Biotech, Internet and Software, and a few years in Academia as a resident assistant.

From past leadership roles, I really enjoyed guiding recent college graduates at the start of their careers, through the entire employee life cycle and preparing them for future opportunities with their career aspirations. I am very passionate about impacting people through developing, coaching and inspiring them to succeed.

What has led you to your current role?

I have had the pleasure managing, developing, and inspiring recent college graduates to learn, grow and succeed. I helped them transition from college to career; guiding their career expectations and supporting their needs.

I was able to gain experience around the entire employee lifecycle from recruiting to onboarding, employee engagement, retention and talent development.

My past experiences have inspired me to take on my current role and continue to be a coach and mentor to students as they navigate through their career journey.

In your spare time, what do you enjoy doing?

I really enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes. I love watching a good show or movie. My Basset Hound, Remy loves her daily walks. I also really appreciate spending time with family and friends.
