Career Connections offers a collection of career resources from the Stanford Alumni Association and beyond. You can connect with fellow alumni via the Alumni Directory and by professional community, search job postings, and learn about career events in your area.

We offer career coaching through Stanford PlusFive for alumni who have graduated within the last five years. If you graduated over five years ago, go to the Stanford Alumni Association’s website for a list of additional career coaches.

Career Fairs

Stanford hosts 11 career fairs during the academic year, covering a wide variety of industries.These fairs are an excellent way to connect with employers to learn about opportunities and what skills they are seeking.

Handshake 

Handshake is our online platform that connects students and alumni to employers. As an alum, you can access full-time job postings, create a profile viewable to all employers who recruit at Stanford, and learn about career fairs.

Are you a recent graduate and you still have access to your original student Handshake account? Please update your email so you will have access to appointment details and reminders, etc. 

  1. Log in to Handshake
  2. Go to Settings (under your initials in upper corner for web version, in the app it’s under Profile)
  3. Update your primary email address*

Did you graduate a while ago or you no longer have access to your old student Handshake account?

  1. Please complete this form
  2. We will update your email address on the back end so you will be able to log in
