Faculty Job Search
CareerEd and our partner offices offer a number of resources and programs to support your path to a faculty career.

Faculty Job Search Toolkit
We have compiled a comprehensive set of resources to help you navigate the faculty search into the Faculty Job Search Toolkit, hosted on Canvas. The toolkit is organized into 14 modules that cover everything from how to find open positions to how to negotiate offers. Each module includes worksheets, videos, and written resources, and you’ll also be able to access sample written materials from Stanford PhDs and postdocs who have secured faculty job.

Sample Materials
On both Handshake and our Canvas toolkit, you can access sample packets of the key documents for the faculty job application, including CVs, cover letters, teaching statements, research statements, and more.

Successful Search Panels
Good advice and up-to-date information about the faculty job search comes from those who have just successfully completed a search. On Handshake and the Canvas toolkit, you can view recordings of panels of alums who share their insight and advice on successfully landing a faculty position.
