Director of Career Coaching and Education

Kristin Conner

Tell us something interesting about your background.

I discovered Career Development in Higher Education during my Junior year of college when working on campus to support 1st year students. My on campus internship was with the Career Center and I absolutely loved it! I haven't left a college campus or career services since! My journey has always been about gaining new skills, knowledge, and experiences while helping others to do the same. I am so happy to be at Stanford!

What has led you to your current role?

This is my second time working at Stanford University. I previously worked on campus for almost 15 years as a Career Counselor. After 8 years working in the community college system overseeing a variety of student support program I am excited to be back on The Farm.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I enjoy baking, watching baseball (especially the SF Giants), going to museums, theatre, and listening to books. My family is all within a 3 hours driving radius and I have 5 nephews so I spend a lot of time with family.
