Cladellain David

Tell us something interesting about your background.
I have a background in psychology, business management, and HR, which shapes how I approach people, process, and problem-solving. I’m motivated by creating clear, human-centered workflows that help others feel supported, confident, and empowered as they navigate complex systems. As a first-generation immigrant, my own experiences learning new environments have deeply influenced my desire to collaborate, mentor, and be an approachable resource for those finding their way in unfamiliar spaces.

What has led you to your current role?
My career has consistently sat at the intersection of people, process, and strategy. After working in HR and recruitment roles supporting fast-moving teams, I was drawn to Stanford Career Education for the opportunity to partner with employers while supporting students’ access to opportunity. The role allows me to apply my operational background while contributing to a mission-driven academic environment that empowers students to navigate their paths with confidence and support.

In your spare time, what do you enjoy doing?
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, spending time with my cats, and planning creative projects. I love learning new skills, organizing events with friends, and unwinding in cozy spaces with a good cup of tea. I also genuinely enjoy building systems—whether that’s a planting schedule, a travel plan, or a colorful shared calendar.
