Assistant Director of Career Coaching and Education - PhDs & Postdocs
Chris Golde
Tell us something interesting about your background?
I have a lot of links to Stanford University: my parents are both alumni and met while students here. I came to Stanford as a PhD student in 1990 (PhD, Education, 1996) which means that I have been connected to Stanford for more than one-fifth of the University's history.
What has led you to your current role?
For most of my career I have worked with PhD students and tried to improve doctoral programs. This has led me to my current career chapter; helping PhDs and Postdocs find meaningful work.
In your spare time, what do you enjoy doing?
I love to cook, garden, quilt and hike in the Bay Area with my husband and my dog Neville.
