Career Fairs are an excellent way to connect with employers to learn about job and internship opportunities along with the specific skills they are seeking. We offer quarterly career fairs for students to engage with employers.
“Crafting Your Humanist Career” is a 2-unit course created for humanities & social science PhD students in their early years (Audit/no credit available).The goal of the course is for students to reflect on where they are and make a game plan for the rest of their time at Stanford – with an eye towards where they are headed after the PhD.
Warm up to Winter Quarter by exploring the many programs and resources available to frosh here on the Farm! Academic Advising and Stanford Career Education have teamed up to bring frosh this annual frosh event.
Humanists at Large (HAL) is a specialized career exploration program for Stanford PhD students in the humanities, arts, and humanistic social sciences who are interested in careers beyond academia.
PhD Pathways is an annual event that brings together PhD students and postdocs from all disciplines to explore career paths beyond academia. The next PhD Pathways will be held in March 2026. Please check back at the beginning of the winter quarter for more information.
